Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the Pretty Pooches platform as a grooming business operator.

The service

Pretty Pooches provides a multi-tenant booking, payments and reminders platform. Your account ("Tenant") includes a branded booking site, a back-office for managing services + bookings + clients, and integrations with Stripe (payments), Entri (domains), Resend + Twilio + Meta (notifications) and Google / Mapbox (travel-time).

Plans + payment

The Starter plan is free. Paid plans (Pro, Studio) are billed monthly in advance via Stripe Billing; prorations on up/downgrade are handled by Stripe. You can cancel any time from the Stripe billing portal; on cancellation your site reverts to the free tier — it does not go offline.

Payments to you

Customer payments flow through Stripe Connect directly to your Stripe account. Pretty Pooches takes a per-plan processing fee (Starter 2.5%, Pro 1.5%, Studio 1.0%) plus Stripe's own processing fees. We never hold customer funds on our balance.

Your customers

You are the controller of your customers' data and own the relationship. We will not market to your customers on our own behalf. Should the optional Marketplace ever go live, it operates on an opt-in basis and only commissions net-new customers it introduces — never your existing book.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Pretty Pooches to: send unsolicited messages outside the booking lifecycle; impersonate another business; attempt to access another tenant's data; or knowingly circumvent the platform's rate limits or webhook signature checks.

Availability

We aim for high availability but make no specific uptime guarantee on the free Starter tier. Paid plans include incident notifications via email + status page.

Termination

You can delete your account from the back-office at any time. We will retain anonymised booking records for 7 years to satisfy tax + dispute obligations; all other personal data is hard-deleted.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for the conduct of your customers or for losses flowing from third-party providers (Stripe, Entri, Meta, etc.) beyond our reasonable control.
